Jesús Napancca Herrera

Founder / Director

Jesús was born and raised in Peru. He grew up working throughout his childhood to help support his family with their living expenses. He managed to earn enough to study a technical career in Lima. In 1997 he moved to Cusco and started teaching Spanish to tourists. With hard work and the support of his friends, the Amigos Spanish School blossomed in 2002. A few years later, he enrolled in the university system in Cusco to study Spanish Language and Literature. After five years he graduated with high honors from Universidad Andina del Cusco. In 2017, after many exams, he was accepted to a master’s program at the University of Oregon in the United States. His major was Language Teaching Studies where he also graduated with high honors. During his master’s at the University of Oregon, he taught languages part-time.  Later on, he moved to Miami where he worked as a language teacher. Nowadays, after being back in Cusco, Jesus is giving his time and dedication to the Amigos Spanish School program and is also working remotely for his company Amigos Simple Services LLC in the United States.
