VentureCo Ops
One of our partners is Ventureco which is a UK registered charity that works on many projects world wide. They provide a balanced programme of voluntary work, learning and travel for many people wishing to take a gap year. Ventureco help to fund existing and new Amigos projects by sending groups to our Amigos Spanish School to learn Spanish as part of their time in Peru.
Jesus Napancca, the founding director of Amigos met the two founding directors of Ventureco, David Gordon and Mark Davidson in Cusco many years ago, and since then the two organisations have been working closely together. For further information about Ventureco please click on
Joho
In November 2008, Amigos has become partners with Joho; an (inter-)national organization founded in The Netherlands. This organization works on many projects abroad, one of these project is the Joho Experience Center which is also a nonprofit organization with the goal to promote and support:
• People setting up development projects
• Volunteers who are working there where it is needed
• Students with their studies
• Youngsters in developing countries to improve their future
• Children in Africa, Asia and Latin America with a temporary teacher
• Travelers to travel fair and sustainable
